About "Mahima Foundation"
As an NGO based in MYSURU, KARNATAKA, INDIA. Mahima Foundation works primarily in the field of Education and Mahima Foundation has helped more than 77 children below poverty level to pursue their studies. Mahima foundation helps street children, under-privileged children, children of sex workers, physically challenged kids and assists juveniles in India. Mahima Foundation works for the destitutes and homeless. We have been reaching the under-privileged children and destitutes through the following projects of Mahima Foundation.

●Give to the Needy. DISTRIBUTED 470 DRY RATION-KITS (ESSENTIAL GROCERIES)
We used to receive lots of Phone calls and videos asking essential groceries (Ration kits) during the COVID-19 LOCKDOWN then we took the initiative through MAHIMA FOUNDATION and we have begun to distribute essential groceries and we have distributed more than 470 DRY RATION-KITS (essential groceries) to the needy slum families in Mysuru and Mandya districts. Still we have been distributing DRY RATION-KITS (Essential Groceries) to the needy families.

"MAHIMA FOUNDATION" We have been working to implement the Child Rights in Karnataka and mainly we have been concentrating on under-privileged children who are living in slums and streets. We go to slums and encourage parents to send their children to schools. We conduct tuition classes for those under-privileged Children, we teach them Spoken English, Math, Science, Social science and language classes. Many of those children don't have the regular practice of going to school. Therefore, it's very hard to make them sit for tuition classes. Hence we give them snacks before we could ever begin to teach them. We have been providing those under-privileged children Education needs every year, we provide like, school bags, notebooks, geometry boxes, erasers, pencils, uniform shoes and School uniforms.

We have been working for destitutes, homeless and Orphans in Mysuru Karnataka. We have been distributing hot meals to the destitutes and so far we distributed 1700 meals pockets and Also we have been providing them their basic necessities of life. We provide the basic necessities like, Cloths, Bedsheets, towels, mats, toothbrushes, washing soaps and bathing soaps. We have got done the 3 destitutes hairdressing (hair cutting) and we gave them bath and put clothes and sandals on them.

We have been visiting slums and we know what is the basic problem in the slums. People are in very much need of basic necessities of life after this pandemic Covid-19 lockdown. Therefore, we began to distribute the needs of slum dwellers through Helping hands outreach. We reach people with large number of needs. We go to slums with bundles of old clothes, bedsheets, towels, mats, slippers, and we distribute them among those slum dwellers. So far we have distributed tons of clothes.
